Carry out an independent review before sending money in a Turkish real estate transaction.

The payment document states that money was received on behalf of another person for an apartment reservation in Dubai. The later Turkish protocol records files at the Alanya Enforcement Office, a settlement agreement and a payment schedule.

The authenticity of the documents, whether payments were completed, and any later legal developments should be verified directly with the relevant authorities and parties. Never send money based only on verbal promises, messages or screenshots.

Before you pay

Protect your money.

  1. Verify the identity and authority of the person receiving the money directly with the property developer.
  2. Pay only into a verified company account officially provided by the party to the contract.
  3. Obtain legal advice from an independent lawyer who was not recommended by the seller or intermediary.
  4. Request official receipts, contracts, and verification from the bank and relevant authorities.
